The fruit is more or less oval or heart-shaped. The skin is dark green in the immature fruit, that becomes slightly yellowish green as the fruit matures. Its flesh is white juicy, tangy and acidic in flavour. The flesh of soursop is eaten with spoon or added to fruit cups or chilled and served as desert. Soursop juice, thickened with a litter gelatin, make an excellent dessert.
